FarmIQ announced today that Darryn Pegram, FarmIQ’s current Chief Executive will leave the business at the end of July, and Jock Richardson, current GM Customer Success, will take over as interim Chief Executive.

Darryn will take up a new role heading up CRV’s Engender technology business, based in Auckland.

It’s been a challenging journey in lots of respects, but New Zealand agriculture needs a single platform for data if it is to thrive globally and FarmIQ is very well placed to provide it.  I’m delighted to leave the business in Jock’s very capable hands and will follow FarmIQ’s progress with great interest.”

Jock Richardson thanked Darryn for his contribution and noted “the best is yet to come as FarmIQ launches next generation dairy software for CRV and Synlait in time for the new season.”

John Quirk, Chairman of the FarmIQ board said “FarmIQ has grown and changed dramatically since being spun-out of the PGP and is now one of the most exciting businesses in New Zealand agriculture.

As a business, we would all like to say ‘thank you’ to Darryn and wish him the very best of luck.
