The new application, which launches today, will be rolled out initially to CRV Insight customers before being made more widely available later in the season. It is a complete mobile and web-based herd management system that provides dairy farmers with rich, intuitive recording functionality.

Darryn Pegram, FarmIQ Chief Executive Officer said, “Our work with CRV has enabled us to reach a really important milestone for FarmIQ as it completes our offering to dairy farmers.  They have been asking us for deeply integrated herd recording capability for a long time. With the launch of CRV’s myHERD, farmers can now bring together their herd genetics, people, feed and production data together on one platform. As well as making farmers lives easier now, we are confident this will open up new opportunities and insights in the future.”

CRV Ambreed’s IT Manager Andrew Singers, said, “Giving farmers the opportunity to consolidate all their data into one platform is an important step forward for the dairy industry. FarmIQ is one of New Zealand’s leading integrated farm software providers and I’m delighted we’ve been able to work together to bring our idea to life.

“It’s been a pleasure working with the FarmIQ team to deliver a herd recording product that will provide farmers with practical, accessible information so they can make better decisions across their farming business.
