A new Farm Assurance Programme (FAP) feature in FarmIQ makes it easier to meet the farm audit requirements of meat companies.
Using this feature helps farmers make sure they’re keeping the right records and that they are easy to access.
The feature is based on the New Zealand Farm Assurance Programme (NZFAP), which was developed by the Red Meat Profit Partnership (RMPP) in 2017 and is supported by most of New Zealand’s major meat processors.
The FAP section in FarmIQ consists of a simple questionnaire that takes you through all the relevant aspects of farm management. Alongside every set of questions you can attach relevant documents or get access to FarmIQ farm reports.
You can work through the process at any time. and the advantage is that you will have all the documents sitting there if an auditor calls. For a remote verification process, you will be able to share access with them.
The new FAP feature can be accessed from the Office menu within FarmIQ.
