The latest updates to your FarmIQ web experience

As mentioned at the start of the year, we're striving to make life easier for farmers using the web. Recently we released a few exciting things that will, without a doubt, make you very excited.

What’s new?

💻 Farm map updates

We’ve made improvements to its look and feel of the FarmIQ web farm map.

The key benefits

  • New mob icons to make it easy to see what stock is in your paddocks, just like in the new mobile app
  • View more information about your animals when you select a mob
  • If you have more than one mob in the same paddock, you can select multiple mobs on the map with the click of one button
  • Move some or all mobs in a paddock with our new design of mob moves for an easier experience
  • Click on your mobs to choose to view meat withholding, produce withholding, or both

💻 EID custom report

We’re bringing you a new custom report that allows you to track animals by EIDs*; you can create reports and view a range of information about your tagged animals. In addition, this report will enable you to set conditions and filters, ensuring you easily see data that matters to you most.

The key benefits

  • An easy report to track animals by EID tag
  • Add filters and rules to help create reports on specific animals
  • Save custom reports for future use and edit them as required
*EID-level animal recording and reporting available for Enterprise pack farmers. Contact us if you would like to learn more.

💻 Topo map

Our interactive farm map has gotten that much better with the addition of our new topo map. Because who doesn't love a topo map? Whether you view this via the web or print it out, the new black lines, replacing our old yellow lines, allow you to see your operation more clearly.

The key benefits

  • Allows you to understand slopes, waterways and how they feed in and out of rivers
  • It makes for easy map drawing when identifying hazards
  • Allows for a good understanding of slope to help with your Farm Environment Plan, Intensive Winter Grazing Plan and Freshwater Farm Plans
  • 3rd party access users have better visibility of your farming operation around hazards
